Our Net Spend Over the Last Five Years

Using my abacus over the 7 years moshiri has been here we spend around £30m a season. I would say thats most likely the sky money plus player sales. We spent big twice but that has evened itself up over the 7 years. Around £40m over the past 5 years so £8m a season. Have to see where the gordon and moise kean money goes. Thats what it seems to me. I could be miles out?

Its wasteful cos what a Net spend doesnt reflect is that we sold Richarlison, Kean, Digne and Gordon for a combined 180million.

Its wasteful cos we spent 60m on Doucs, Allan and Gomes, all 3 will leave the club for nothing.
Through gritted teeth I'll say Doucoure doesn't deserve that company as his goal vs Bournemouth was what saved us. He's paid for himself 20 times over with that. That we've been at deaths door so regular is a bigger larger fight well beyond the realm of the players.

But would a better player have kept them out of that position for the last game? They took at least one loss because a Doucoure foul in the box decided that game. He is certainly not the worst guy on the roster but he has not produced close to what was expected of him.

Compared to the two he's mentioned with, he's been a relative Dixie Dean. The rest is hypothetical.

We’re so badly impacted by the lack of matchday revenue generated by corporate.

That’s the crux of it. We can question Man Utd, Liverpool but their global reach, sponsorships and hospitality just gazump us.

Our problem is the wages to turnover being like 94%, the only way we’re making a profit is by selling players, and we’ve not got many sellable assets. Having donkeys like Keane on £100k a week was never going to end well.

Hes utter pony and ruins my enjoyment of football.
