Our most important ever signing?

It's hard to nominate any one player, but after a long period of mediocrity after WW2 the signings of Bobby Collins, Alex Parker,
Roy Vernon and Jimmy Gabriel transformed this club and set the foundations for the fabulous sixties.

For me, Bobby Collins was the catalyst.

I agree about the goal but Farrely was as bad as I've seen considering the reputation he come with.

Although he wasn't the most popular player Alan Harper deserves a mention for scoring some crucial goals.
