Luck mainly evens out,we have been poor from day one this season, manager 1st dy of season sttes we do well to finish top half of table negative, other mangers wouldn't have said it!

It seems like Distin is happy with a 1 year extension. Saha has 6 months to prove that he's worth a new deal. I don't think Moyes can afford to let the academy products go, as we'll need the numbers. I'd expect that they'll all get 1 year contracts.

Drenthe seems happy enough. It will be a result if we can get him on a bosman. I don't know how much Tigres are likely to want for Straq but, unless it's a pittance, I can't imagine us going for him. Who knows whether we'll see Donovan again.

I'd expect Bily to go in the window. Heitinga is playing much more often appears to be more settled.

We probably haven't seen the end of the outgoings. Fellaini perhaps signed a new contract on the understanding that he could go if a Champions League club came in for him. I don't think Baines or Rodwell especially want to move at this stage.

Hibbo and Ossie should be alright for about another 3 years. Neville can't have much longer left and Cahill needs to adapt his game.

We could do with following Newcastle's example. They lost Carroll, Barton, Nolan and Enrique but brought in Marveaux, Ba, Cabaye and Obertan. They've also given Krul, Vukic, Gosling and Guthrie opportunities. There are some decent bosmans available including Arshavin, Kalou, Rodallega, Figueroa, Hoilett, Tchoyi, Diame and Klasnic. It will take brave and strong management to push us on though.

This is Everton under Kenwright though...it might look easy from a distance but when you get closer it just looks ugly.

We need to sell about £15million+ worth of players IMO to confortably stay above relegation and get players in. You've got to take on board agent fees etc that always out do us in the end.

Not right now. Maybe tomorrow.

I lost my first game in ages today. Some tit smashed me as Udinese.

Could see that coming. You're more predictable than Moyes mate.

I've been done by Udinese before. Di Natalie is a little [Poor language removed].

Only 2/3 players could be sold to raise that money then we are in the s##t,keep what we got at all costs!or in trouble there is players out there who can do a job, vardy at Fleetwood,Rhodes but he got extra mills on tag now!

Right,
Howard
Coleman Jagielka Heitinga Baines
Barkley Fellaini Rodwell Drenthe
Vellios Anichebe
subs: Hahnemann, Distin, Osman, Gueye, Cahill, Neville,Hibbert

Now without the tiresome board out comments, if that squad is invested and chopped and changed appropriately by our manager, who is meant to be good at that type of thing, then I can see us maintaining a top 10 finish, if we actually invest £15 million in the summer I could see us getting in the top 7 next year. I believe the problem at current football wise, is that the squad is finding it difficult to fulfill their ability and find form playing a particular brand of football, I always had the feeling this season would be the one where much adaptation and patience would be needed, it's turned out to be exactly the case. Now I do believe Neville is way past it now, I also believe Stracqualursi is a donkey, but I don't believe we've sunk to deeper, darker depths then ever, like some make out. cahill for starters, is not past it, he's been carrying injuries all year and badly needs a 3 week break to heal up and come back fit and firing. The biggest problem is our lack of top strikers. Saha isn't good enough anymore so we should let him go and use his wages for a new striker. on top of that I believe bringing Pienaar back would improve our creativity greatly. also considering Distin's age and Heitinga's suitability to some games and lack of it to others, I think signing someone like Samba or even Alex as some have mentioned should be looked into. Obviously, Donovan has already shown how much of an asset he can be to us so sorting out a permanent deal for him would be nice. How do we generate funds? well I think we already have some to spend and Moyes is keeping his cards close to his chest, by saying he'll have to look to the loan market, if there's only one stack of cash, you don't want people to know you have it as it would make it easier to lose. as long as Moyes stays i believe we'll compete at the top end, but we desperately need that guaranteed £20 million to spend every summer if we are to look at making inroads to the top four places. This is not a pro board post it is pro Moyes post.

We're down next season I reckon, this season could be close if we don't start scoring some goals !!!! We're in January and out left back is our top scorer
