It's always interesting to see where the "experts" in papers predict we'll end. Found this one making a short description of his opinion.

thats not a bad analysis I'd say, 7th seems reasonable its what I would predict anyway.

I was taking the bloke seriously until he said at the end ' Everton could well embark on a decent run in one of the domestic Cup competitions '
For the record we had a similar thread on TW last season and i predicted 6th, so believe me when i say 6th again this season. It's gonna be a good 'un.

i think we will finish 8th this season. a top ten finish would be good if we could couple it with a good uefa run.

funnily enough i don't see bolton struggling as much as everyone thinks and they will be with villa newcastle spurs man city and us for the eufa spots for next season.

With City vastly improving this season i just can't help but see them grab a Uefa place. Another Uefa place is going to go to Arsenal or Spurs in my opinion, so thats two gone. And then we have to compete with Newcastle and Blackburn for that one last spot. Im hoping for a good cup run, the league finish isn't concerning me, i'd say 8th right now, but im sure i'll be surprised.
