Our fans were a disgrace

Basically in a nutshell our fans were bad tits tonight, started chants of "Yorkshire police,murderers" just before JFT96. They then carried on singing it every now and then for the rest of the match and as you would imagine police took offence to it and also recorded fans inside the stadium singing it.
After the match there was murder, Everton fans kicking off at the police from what I seem and policed pushing them into fences and to the coaches and using batons on people and Nicking people. Overall it was a bad night on the pitch and off the pitch for Everton, thought better from our team and fans tbh

Not calling you a liar at all mate, I wasn't there, but I txt my mate saying rumours were flying around about a kick off and his txt back was "didn't see anything mate"

Maybe it was just a section. Don't get too disheartened by what you have seen, there's too many good Evertonians about mate which far outweigh the minority of bells we have

Chanting doesn't deserve getting battered by geared up riot police.

To be fair, if I was the police and had people chanting that about me and then had the typical 'roudy football fans' shouting stuff and being a bit aggressive after the match as I'd imagine they might have been, I'd have been tough with them. There's a lot more fans than police, at the end of the day. Could get nasty if they're too nice.

But I don't agree with police taking advantage of their power, at all.

Very naive attitude you have, and your presumption of how football fans are, are part of what caused the a serious incident 23 years ago, with decades of similar attitudes.

1) I'm very much bothered how Police treat fans, especially after what has come out in the last two weeks
