This. Right now when DCL gets the ball I just don't sense there is any threat to the goal (happy to be proven wrong on this in coming months) . Niasse is more of a tricky threat.

He deserves a chance just for the attitude he has shown alone. He was treated as an absolute outcast and said nothing , went on loan to Hull and had a good spell there and still said nothing about the club while away, he came back after the summer and was still not welcome and still has not said a bad word.
He has played with the under 23s and apparently his attitude has been exemplary.
He deserves at least the dignity of being regarded as a senior player and in time he will be sold and we will get a striker and by being included and possibly getting a game now and then he is keeping a value as a player.

I think other more talented players could look to this fellow for example
