Jermaine Beckford? Maybe it's me, but I see parallels. Not necessarily the smoothest players but stuck the ball away. Beckford scored worldys and suffers yet often looked likely to trip over his own feet. To me anyway.

For me he's Stracq with actual finishing ability.

Beckford was much better than both of them as a footballer IMO.

I'm sure Niasse looks proper awful in training as he doesn't really score pretty goals and the ball just seems to randomly bounce off body parts and into the net. However, he does score goals and if we cared about asthetics why is Big Sam here?

I thought his goal against Sunderland had a touch of class.

Why? When he play he is the best chance we have to get us a goal, I'm just shocked he doesn't get more game time, KoemanKoeman and Allerdyce are more obsessed with playing DCL don't/didn't they want to win games?.

Wouldn't blame him if he wanted to move away to a club that can match his ambitions, he's been treated like dirt by this club. We don't deserve such talent.

If DCL is the best we have to play the target man role, perhaps we shouldn't play that way. Every game I see him on the team sheet I know it will be a negative attacking display from us. TBH he not that good, just ok and ok won't cut it in the PL. TBH I'm shocked that he has played so much, also that so many are still happy with him playing, I think he gets away with it because he's young and trying his best, but it's no secret we do need much better. I do though hope in time as his game develops he improves and as and when he does play, he can turn out to be a very good player for us, but now I personally think he shouldn't be a starter for us. Depending who we get in I wouldn't mind see him go out on loan.

Never said it wasn't, but he is very unorthodox in his play so will score flukes.
