Without a proper look? Any Everton fan could tell you after limited game time here niasse was a mistake. Koeman saw with his own eyes on a pre-season tour day in day out what niasse could 'contribute'. His opinion to not even get the lad a squad no. spoke volumes about what he saw in training.

I seem to remember he spoke highly of Tom Davies on more than one occasion after he played regularly in pre season. Obviously he thought Davies wasn't 'ready' to start for us at the beginning of the season (wrongly in my opinion). However his form since breaking into the team suggests he was handled right by Koeman.

If so his stock was low then surely higher now, so it's win win. His brush with the law would not have helped his situation.
