Niasse has done well for us...hes a bizarre player and not at the level we need but somehow manages to knock goals in.

If you look at it that way, Niasse hasn't played 30, just been involved in 30. Give DCL a run of 5 games and Niasse a run of 5, I'm not a betting man but I'd put £10 on Niasse scoring more.

Well with our players, who should be good surpliers to a strike why wouldn't he get 10ish here? If he had the chance I'm sure he would, DCL has been better this season but still doesn't convince me that he will Score many, Tosun the same. It's all well and good people saying DCL helps link play etc, but our main striker needs to be getting 15 plus a season. Richardson may get that but he's not really and out and our striker. Give Niasse a 5 game run, what's the harm.

Niasse from word go has had a stigma about him that he is useless, he has proved people wrong but no manager has really trusted him, I don't really know why. If Koeman had played him a month before he may well have saved Koeman his job, he did help him keep it longer. If we need a goal I'm not confident DCL or Tosun would get one, but in Niasse I'd feel much more confident. TBH I'd miss Niasse more than the other 2, how DCL keeps getting a lot of playing time is beyond me he ok, but that's it top championship player imo I've never really rated him and still don't.

He is absolutely shocking as a footballer

But the lad scores goals.

Not to dissimilar to lukaku
 

He is not the required standard he tries hard but then so would I and thankfully Marcel hasn't been on the phone enquiring about my availability! He scores a few but you could easily seeing him going 10-15 without scoring then maybe a couple in quick succession hitting him and flying in. His treatment under Koeman was shocking but people should not let this cloud their view on his ability.
