Selling Bale is them pretty much throwing in the towel as far as being a big side, for the time beeing at least
Dunno about that mate.
United sold Ronaldo for a similar figure, Spurs' current squad minus Bale but plus Soldado is definitely a top four squad. Give AVB a good amount of that £85m for a couple of players and they'll be right up there.
