ha, the headline slooked that way. But when u read the quotes it doesnt say that at all.

AVB says they have been talking for a year, but he hasnt signed or close to signing.

"There was contact between the club and his agent last year and there is ongoing contact between the club and his agent," Villas-Boas said.
"Talks are ongoing but that doesn't mean there is an agreement.At the moment we're confident that the player is under contract at Tottenham, as was done last year.

@arminisgod - you seem desperate for Bale to leave Spurs! Sorry to disappoint. He won't be joining RM until 2014-2015. Spurs (according to Marca) asking for Eur 120mn. They haven't paid us for Modric yet lol.

My best mate is a Spurs fan and he is convinced Bale will leave....... hope not for his sake as he often travels for hours on a coach just to watch a spurs home game....dedication that is fair play.
