Can't have too many midfielders!
Regarding Villa - you know what they say, form is temporary but class is permanent!
If we ended with just Defoe and Villa I might be a bit concerned but then Bale is more of a striker than midfielder these days I suppose. Villa Defoe and one other quality striker and I would be more than happy.

Ah a Spurs fan. I happen to have some ITK stuff for you. A long time friend of mine is on your board and was speaking to him last week. The young Brazilian and Villa (which is defo on) is the prelude to Bale being sold. There'll be some more money to spend after he's gone and some of it is going to try and be used on bringing Modric home but they're not so sure how that will go.

Bale leaving would be a disaster for Spurs. Without him last season they looked extreamly average, probably wouldn't have made top 6 without him.

Fair enough. If Spurs are to sell Bale to RM i doubt very much if they would do so without a deal being agreed re Modic (another midfielder?). Glad that a board member of ours is adhering to the policy of 'loose lips sink ships' :lol:

Still, it will all come out in the wash. I will still be at Palace away on opening day Bale or no Bale (y)
