No, not really, but he might get 8 goals and won't break the bank. We couldn't even dream about Anelka for example, his wages would cause uproar in the rest of the squad. Happy with Gayle, he looks a prospect, most of the fee is add ons and he wont be on mega money to start with. Still need a few though.......could you lend us Johnny H for the season if we pay half his wages??

He'll be a good signing. We don't chuck money around easily so he has obviously proved to the club that he has the fight and desire for Premier League football. He'll be a great learning platform for some of our younger players. You might lose your pace but players like him don't lose their intelligence nor ability.

I think he's a cracking signing for you guys.

Guarentees a double figure goals tally. And if you're seemingly not getting Lukaku back, this is a great move.
 
Anelka is a good player to have in the squad, especially for a smaller club like West Brom. He might not get about 20 goals a season, but he is more than capable of 10-15. Solid transfer.

Well, if they go to Southampton they're hardly ambitious, are they?

It's more a case of the club being ambitious, which makes me insanely jealous.

Even if they got two of the three they're linked with... Damiao and Banega, plus already Ramirez and decent enough players in Lambert, Shaw, Lallana... that'd give them a great shot at top half next season.

Then they'd no doubt sell for a profit. All works out well for them.

ffs, Swansea City. We've been in the Premier League since the early 90s, they've been in it two minutes and are going for transfers like that.

Career suicide. Ruddy must be absolutely thick.

Courtois is brilliant and as soon as Cech is out of the picture he'll come back from Atletico... likely the end of next season.

Courtois is their number one for the next decade and a half.
