I think their current issue is all down to the La Liga wage limits. They are skint too but somehow Spain are helping them out it seems.

Adama lowered his wages to league minimum, like Dani Alves, to sign on loan - no fees involved

Auba agreed to 18 month contract, on a free, and lowered his weekly wages to fit within cap

The difference when there is true leadership with an eye on sporting & financial matters
