Jonny Evans to Leicester for 3.5 million. We should have been all over that. Not that I think he is world class just an upgrade on what we have.

Yeah he would've been a decent signing.

Considering that it was Leicester, a club in a similar position to ourselves currently, who got him, one can presume we actively decided against making a bid.

Hopefully this lack of interest points to us having our eye on someone else.

Probably contract extensions for Williams and Jagielka tbf.

He's an experienced centre back who Ferguson obviously thought was talented and has been consistently linked with clubs like Man City as of late.

From what I've been told, he's also an intelligent bloke with a good grasp of the game so for £3.5m I'm disappointed that we weren't looking.

Congratulations to Spurs on tying down Kane. Breaks their wage budget a bit but had to be done - I do like how they do business as a club, gotta say.
When you see the mess they were in a couple of years ago and see where they are now,Levy has played a great game for them

Reports suggest anywhere between £200k and £300k per week (including bonuses).
One of our ex pros on Twitter reckons Dele signed his new one a couple of weeks back.
Need to get Eriksen tied down now.

Must have smashed the wage structure there;suppose its a case of having to protect your interests

Taking the higher, circa £15m a year, X 6 = circa £95m. Couldnt replace, like for like, for that, lets face it. Makes sense. Well, sense as in the mad football world.

Makes any move away a huge deal as well, obvs.
