Utd close to signing Fred and Alex Sandro, plus working on £85 million deal for Bale. If they get them 3 and Alderwiereld then thats some serious £££ been spent this window again.
They can't afford to get all of those players unless they sell. And bale will be 121m at least.
Ronaldo will be the one to leave, at 33 they would be stupid not to cash in on him.

United have to be close to breaking ffp rules surely

Man U signing Fred?

But they are so far behind City it’s unreal, as are most clubs to be fair. Is mourinho the best man to get the best out that team though?

Surprising Man U is barreling ahead with hundreds of millions more in spending when it’s Year 3 of Jose and his traditional descent into madness is not far off.

Probably no where close to mate. Their revenues are gazillions.

But surely they can't spend 200m without selling first.
There net spend is 250m over the last 2 seasons.

They can. All their commercial deals mean they can drop £200-300mill easily. PSG are only getting looked at as they signed a stupidly high sponsorship deal with some relation to their owners. Utd dont have to do that.

hammers making a show of themselves again, getting knocked back by pastore, as if they were ever paying 200k a week haha

Real would be crazy to let bale go. Ronaldo who despite being still a great player is on the decline, whereas bale is at his peak. The team should be built around the talents of bale, not Ronaldo. But Real’s transfer policy has always been about galaticos, not necessarily what is best for the team.

They know a thing or two about transfers if since 2008 Liverpool have spent as much as them(more or less).

According to gazzetta dello sport Madrid have spent €970m, Liverpool €930m - without adding the cost of Fabinho which puts them above Real Madrid.

The article is from May:

Liverpool also had a more expensive starting 11 in the final than Real Madrid.

where are united suppose to fit fred sanchez matic pogba lingard Herrera? Players who will all want first team.

I reckon in 10 years time I will have forgotten Mourinho managed Man United.

There’s absolutely zero excitement optimism or emotion around the club.

Always had a lot of respect for their travelling fans, reckon they could spend £400m this summer and win nothing of real note.

Manager absolutely cannot be arsed
