Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

For Chelsea, £40m is a drop in the pond. It's crazy that they are allowed to spend and spend, seemingly without limits. They have played some tricks with PSR, but they must surely be pushing the limits of PSR by now.
They just made about £100m from winning the Club World Cup. They've sold a bunch of players too. Madueke and Joao Felix alone got them around £100m and they've got about another £50m from players that you wouldn't even call squad players. Obviously that is not all profit but still a lot of money coming in. So I think they are fine when it comes to PSR.

This, it obviously costs them to make these moves and hold so many players, but PSR rules & actual Cash are 2 different things

They have loads of wiggle room, but if they dont, they will just sell a couple of the following

Nkunku
Chilwell
Disasi
Veiga
Chukwuemeka
Ugochukwu
Broja
David Fofana
Sterling
Guiu
Acheampong
Wesley Fofana
Chalobah
Dewsbury Hall

£300m worth of sales there

Sterling and Broja both appear done for, for entirely separate reasons. It's a good job chelsea sold themselves that hotel, because they'll have a place to store all the players waiting down their contracts.
