Remember the James Bond story of 'On her majesty's secret service'? Reckon Blofeld is secretly running chelsea and is collecting as many football players as he can to then spread some sort of pandemic material? Because, I can't understand the lure of joining a legion of other players and fighting it out for 10 outfield places.

Maybe some footballers aren't even that interested in playing.

They are happy to train every day, get paid a large sum of money to do that, live in London, enjoy the lifestyle, then when they get bored of that, move on.

Its like in the NFL, they have a 'training squad' you are literally there to help the first lot train properly

FWIW I think it’s complete rubbish anyway. These rumours have started and are swirling about, but I have heard he’s just injured. Not sure though.
