If they did get Isaak it’s a move away from their usual policy. With Wirtz 2/3 of their front line will be prone to missing a lot of games through injury. That’s a huge amount of money to spend on players when in the past they’ve been used to putting out Mane Firmino Salah every single game of the season without them ever missing. Diaz doesn’t miss many games either.
