Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

I'm asking this as someone who hasn't seen anything of Gyokeres....is he actually any good and worth the fee that Arsenal are paying for him?
Or, are they chucking dough at a gaping necessity and hoping he comes good?

60 million is crazy money. Watched him a few times and although he scores a tonne, the general standard of opposition is league 1 or worse. Benfica and Porto have both been pretty terrible of late as well.
I bet he starts off on a bit of a streak then fades away as the season goes on and people start giving him pelters.

He may do well in the premier league, but one of the strangest narratives I've seen on here is people acting like his scoring less than a goal every two games in the championship and then scoring a ton in Portugal means it's an absolute certainly he'd have done well at Everton.

Can’t pretend to have seen him in Portugal, but he was a level above in the Championship. So clearly too good for that level, every other team was buzzed when Cov lost him
