Looking at Liverpool’s defence this season so far, I reckon his price has defo gone up! Wouldn’t be surprised if they got north of what they’re paying for Johnson.
I do like how Spurs and Palace have agreed a fee and everything and they don’t even know yet if he wants the move

Mad how similar their relegation thread is to what ours has been the last few yrs….. nice to be reading it eating popcorn!
It’s different for them, too, because they know the taste of relegation.
Since it’s effectively fallen out of living memory with Evertonians, relegation was basically unimaginable for us.
I think that feeling of an existential threat drove us to mobilise as a fanbase and refuse to allow it to happen.
But for them, I can see it being paralysing. The reality of it is fresh with them, and I can imagine them falling into a “here we go again,” sort of a mindset.
