Yes, the point I was making to @Littlesue is that I would prefer it if Henderson, rather than Johnstone ( the former Baggie) was available for transfer as I much prefer Johnstone as a keeper at Palace.

Feels like the number of players going abroad is increasing this summer. Young Tottenham striker has just signed for a club in Spain’s 2nd division

I can see the attraction: warmer climate, increased likelihood of regular football and in leagues that allow and promote technical development over physicality.

The likes of Spain, Netherlands and Germany have a much higher number of badged coaches (UEFA badges) than the UK, so you get the support.
