Fulham make actually good business, I always thought they were lacking creativity, but have quite pacy side. Dealt well with losing Mitrovic last season.

Palhinha, replaced by McTom and Berge, added creativity with Smith Rowe. And might get a good CB.

Another smaller club that took overtook us. Not a top 8, club put easily competitive in the midfield, see no weaknesses if that all happens.

The Gundogan thing is weird, no? he's literally about to return to City for free. Is the assumption that Barca can't afford him or something?

They do make good signings but Silva is very stubborn, one thing you notice with them is when they are good, they are good but when they are bad, they are really bad and he very rarely will change it.

Tbf, I haven't followed them in that many games to judge that, but in fact for me for a long time Fulham was a laughable team that get somewhat multi-nationals transfers that don't fit.

I see sense in all of them they get this year.

As @Nymzee said, it looks as if it will release wages needed to register Olmo and others. City never wanted him to leave in the first place, so I think it'd be decent.

He tore us a new one two seasons ago, in one of the most influential performances I've seen in a while... and his goal, too!

Think City massively missed him last season.
We did miss him, pal. Gundogan has been invaluable to us and is a smart player who's often in the right place at the right time. Last season there was several games I watched thinking I wish we still had him because Gundo is a game changer who has turned losses into draws and draws into wins. And his finest game was at home against Villa in '21 when he came off the subs bench to score to late goals that won us the league.

He'll probably sign for 2 seasons but he's also returning to take up coaching with us and possibly become Pep's right hand man. Most City fans are buzzing about him returning, I know I certainly am😁
