Wasn't good enough apparently but performed well at Sampdoria, Valencia and now off to Arsenal. Davey could pick a defender couldn't he...

Looks like that's off.

Valencia only want to sell one defender to meet FFP and they'd rather sell Abdennour. While we were dithering over his price it looks like Steve Walsh has zeroed in on Abdennour. Spanish papers saying Everton almost completed the deal.

There is no way Valencia would sell both,especially Mustafi at a knockdown price. Peter Lim would get lynched by their fans.

Defour was my tip to be a fantastic midfielder a few years ago. Never quite the same after his injury but will be interesting to see how he does for burnley
