I know nobody cares about Sunderland on another teams forum, but a busy/ mad day for the lads today apparently so I'm going to post anyway!

Confirmed to be losing three, including the best Striker in the league (Stewart, Gooch and Pritchard) and rumoured to be losing another three. With a further one linked to Liverpool today (Dan Neil). That number includes probably our five best players from last season.

On the other hand, we're rumoured to be getting 6 in. Although we only know who one of those are (Rusyn, random striker from Ukraine). Linked with a lad from Fernebache (Crespo) this morning.

We thought we were getting Cannon off you, but alas that isn't happening.

We've implemented this extreme model of only signing young cheap players based on data, and it's paid off so far. But this is going into overdrive now, with us selling our top assets to bring a second wave of these youngsters in (hopefully a better quality)

Feels a defining transfer window for us. Either back to square one (if it goes completely tits up, maybe relegation again), or the window that kicks us into being promotion contenders and back to the PL after our longest time outside the top flight in our history.

It’s just exploiting a loophole, think it was the athletic that did a video explaining it a few weeks back.

Also they sold some players on very high wages and are presumably paying all these younguns considerably less.
