Fully agree. Jack Rodwell for example had four contracts out of us. We extended Pickford and Davies's contract for absolutely no reason, too.

I’ll be chuffed if we get Dunk, even if he is a bit of a meat and 2 veg player. We’re so lamentably crap at the back, especially aerially, that he’d have to improve us massively. CFC fan too which is a nice bonus....

Keane's a decent player but in the right set up.

Bernard has no output, not cut out for the physicality of the PL and is one of our highest earners.

I would drive Bernard to his next club myself the same for half this squad.

We overpay because we're corrupt more than other countries (who are corrupt themselves)
We overpay because we dont go for players who have clauses. If there is aplayer with a clause, we'd literally say OK HIS CLAUSE IS 8MILLION? WE'LL GIVE YOU 30MILLION.

I understand teams will want more from English clubs but lets be honest, we probably dont even try and negotiate
