i would laugh myself to sleep if city allow this to happen. They've spunked an utter load on weird transfers and do this. Chelsea should be all over this, united fans would cry to sleep knowing they caused this to happen and being worse off.

Ashley Cole would consider a move to Birmingham City, according to Sky sources.

Robbie Keane - who has been playing with Cole at LA Galaxy - is also expected to begin talks with Birmingham this week over a move to the club, Sky Sports News HQ understands, which could persuade Cole to follow him to St Andrew's.

Solid defender, still only 25 and experienced. Some right bargains out there whilst the PL goes nuts on these expensive kids.
