Osmans performance

Osman was considerably better than Wilshere, Cleverly, Huddlestone and Sterling.

I think he had a better overall performance but you could see how much more passing range and flexibility the first of those 3 have. Osman is good at short range passing but when it comes to playing a 40 yard ball or splitting the defence he just isn't the same type of player.

Thought Ossie had a decent run out, certainly enough to be in the squad for the Brazil friendly next year barring injury

Just searched Leon osman on twitter and some of the most bitter people of all time saying he was **** why Wernt shelvy playing and my most favourite was

Playing osman next to Gerard's was like putting a steaming turd next to the crown jules what a bunch of cu*ts

And the Evertonian swingometer flips to the right. You will have to find a new scapegoat now dickheads. Man up and own up.

While I might approve of the sentiment and actually, from time to time, endorse the word "[Poor language removed]" when used properly, I've got to officially tell you to tone it down and find a better descriptor next time.

Thanks.

The turning point of the game was when Cleverley went off, and Woy put Osman up as the attacking midfielder and had Wilshire and Mr-ball-out-of-play in central midfield. Up until then, Osman had been doing a lot of useful work and broke quite a lot of the Swedish play up (including robbing Zlatan of the ball at least once), something that Wilshire (especially) never looked like doing and so the Swedes got back into a game that looked well beyond them at one point.

If Woy has any brain at all he will start him in the next few games, he was miles better than anyone on the field who wasnt Zlatan and would probably benefit the balance of the team more than the likes of Lampard, Barry etc
