So today the defence called an expert witness who told the court that Oscar is suffering from an anxiety condition, which may be the case, the prosecution have suggested that the timing of this is strange, questioning why they waited until after all the other defence witnesses had been cross examined to inform the court. The prosecution are suggesting that they should have informed the court at the start of the trial not the end. Looks like they are fishing for some sort of diminished responsibility verdict, can see him getting away with it.

I see what you did there.

Yep, Gerrie Nel seems to have all the right questions to hit back at those on the stand. Why would a man with such anxiety and fear of having his home broken into leave a smashed window for days before being repaired... leave a balcony door not just unlocked but wide open at night... leave a set of ladders outside for burglars to use and break in. It just doesn't make sense.

He'll still get off, imo.
