That sum might just price him out, seems a tad on the high side. He’s done quite well but would like to think there’s better value options out there for that. Would like to see him stay though.

He'd be a decent squad player, his problem is he's slow as anything. Barry near the end could still play at a very good level being that slow but he was also an amazing reader of the game, Mangala simply put isn't.

He's an ok central midfielder, good in possession, doesn't make many mistakes but defensively not the best and physically limited due to being very slow. Not in any way a 30m quid player.

They're not getting £30m from anyone for him. Might be able to pick him up cheap at the end of the summer. I'd have him for a bargain but wouldn't push the boat out.

That been said, he's been a good loan signing and we'd have been stuffed without him.

this feels harsh, he’s not at fault for getting injured there. He went in, tried to stop so he didn’t get smacked by the sliding defender coming in, gets his boot caught in the turf and the impact makes his knee buckle.

Lyon are in shambles financially, if you can get him for less than 20m, I think he’s absolutely worth buying for around 15. All depends on how desperate Lyon are.

If you manage to get that Sunderland lad too, your midfield options look a bit better going into next season even with the contract expirations
