I hate the “needs pl experience” line as wel, but I dont get why people are so bothered by it with Dyche. It’s a systemic thing within the club coming from the top down, just look at the manager choices.

Because our manager wouldn't sign 18-year old Cristiano Ronaldo because he doesn't have PL experience unless the club forced him. He's a dinosaur.

He might not have had any choice and was sent here blindfolded, but romantically I hope he asked Onana what it was like, got told the fans get on your back if you look like you aren’t arsed, then thought sod it and backed himself anyway.

I agree, but it comes from the top down. Our board always want a manager with PL experience. And they employed the guy who epitomises that desire (more so in terms of forcing British players into the team even when completely out of form) and has full belief in that same line of thinking. It’s not going to change
