Sky Sports | Home | News | United granted Tosic permit

Says it all really when you look at us not managing to get Obina in the summer.

He has 12 caps no, i think its about a percentage of international games you play in terms of your availabilty i.e its something like 75% of games you could have played in. Obinna didnt play the percentage required over a four year period, were i think this lad has.

Bloody bet the [Poor language removed] would have got a permit for him though.

Ahh fair enough I was reading it as if he didnt have the required percentage and they still got a permit for him

Obinna played for Nigeria at the olympics though, surely that would've tipped the scales in his favour when asking for a work permit. It's not like he was coming over here to sign on is it.

Not too much in it to be honest.

The [Poor language removed], Chelsea and Manure all have youngsters on their books that cant get work permits -- cant remember the feller for the [Poor language removed] but they had the player for 2 years and he still got denied a work permit this year.

For some reason mate i dont think they count the oylimpics, why i dont know, have to say that deal pissed me well of in the summer, bloody annonceing it on the OS and then after the permit wasnt granted the club secreary saying the club had a good idea it wasnt going to be granted.

Bloody Moyes and Super Bill down in London with hours to go! Compleate cock up.

Remember reading last week that Brad Friedal was turned down back in the day. Scuppered several moves to English clubs. All seems a bit nuts to me when these people are coming here to work. Not like they're coming to sponge is it.
