MAN United Red Devil WAYNE ROONEY is planning a nursery for his first child — in Everton’s BLUE colours.

The 23-year-old star’s decision is bound to upset United fans.
England striker Wayne was “buzzing” last week as he excitedly told boss SIR ALEX FERGUSON and team-mates that wife COLEEN was pregnant.

But pals were stunned when Wayne, who was an Everton fan when he was a kid and played for them until 2004, told them of his plans if the baby is a boy.

For he wants to turn the nursery into a shrine to United’s Premier League rivals.

There will be royal blue carpets, pictures of the Goodison Park stands on the wallpaper and even the Everton club crest.

A club insider said: “Wayne has been walking on cloud nine ever since the news — he and Coleen can’t wait.

“The lads are all made up for him but Wazza insists the baby will follow Everton, no matter what.”

The couple have already spoken to Coleen’s close pal Dawn Ward, who along with former footballer hubby Ashley, helped them design their Cheshire home.

The insider added: “Wayne had to make do with posters of his hero DUNCAN FERGUSON on the walls of his old home.

“He wants the little one to have the ultimate boy’s bedroom.

“Coleen will definitely be having the last say though. If it’s a girl she will insist on a fairytale castle for her Little Princess.”
Rooney once famously lifted his Everton shirt to reveal the slogan:

“Once a blue, always a blue!”

Since his £28million move to Old Trafford five years ago, Everton fans have repeatedly taunted him with the slogan.

I know its probably all rubbish but made me smile anyway!

Let it go, for god's sake.

If it was me, if I was at Everton and I was a world class player in the making. If the club were not showing me the direction that they should have done. If a club like Man U came knocking with the offer of more money, better facilities, better chance of winning trophies, well I would sign no problem whatsoever. It's a ******* job.

His hero is Big Dunc, his bird is probably a blue and all his family are/were season ticket holders and 100% blues - so its not hard
to see why he wont break the family tradition.

Off the pitch he's a blue fan, on the pitch he players for his club and has a short temper that takes all the banter and shiit he gets to heart when he should just take it on the chin.

He better not score past us on sunday though.

Nobody blames Wayne Rooney for going to United, nobody. Its the manner in which he did it and the badge kissing thats been since.

Nevermind mate. Next season, when your sitting in the Street End and we play United. You can cheer him, hope it all goes ok for you.

Mik was right. Nobody should argue that Rooney didn't have the right to leave. However, the manner in which he departed was pretty bad. Additionally, it has now transpired that he's a fcuking idiot.

Also agree with Danny, Moyes has saved this club, not Rooney.
