Are you watching this game mate? Or do you have SSN on? The pictures, for a long time, focused on Cuco for quite a while. For most of that time, there wasn't any Everton players near him. There were, however, four or five Lyon players. Maybe it was a misleading, but to claim something to be a disgraceful unnecessary comment, when the pictures say otherwise, is a little bit over the top.

Whether DCL comes on or not this is about the best we can ask for without a good attacking threat.

DCL comes on he puts himself about a bit but still has issues holding up the ball to allow the others in to the game.

Like it or not this is a good performance so far and best we can hope for with how poor our options going forward are.

We havent even tried to win mate, 4-6-0 just means we have gone for 0-0.

I thought we have done well. When you see the names on that back 4 can anyone really blame Unsworth for setting us up like he has done.

Recruitment in the summer was shocking. To go into a season with no CF and this defence is criminal.

I think we will be more adventurous in the second. Unfortunately, the Besic subs limits how we can approach the 2nd half a bit. Gylfi doesn't have the strength to hold it up and he has had no support either.
