Is everyone at the club shitting themselves or something? Acting like we've inadvertently ended up with a squad containing no professional footballers. The squad is perfectly capable of not capitulating against teams like Lyon and Atalanta if they perservere with it. Yet for some reason the white flag is already up and we're shutting up shop before the game has kicked off against a team who've scored 4 goals in 4 games, 2 of which were penalties. If the squad can play like they did against City they can do the same thing at Lyon. Hopefully the new manager will snap the club out of the helplessness it seems to be feeling at the moment and instil a bit of belief! It's always 11 vs 11 after all, yet we're going into games thinking they're lost causes.

Yeah it's a brave selection and to be honest Koeman has killed the Europa league for us so I'm glad he's gone for something different.

This may not work but we have to try something different...maybe even radically different don't we? I think it's actually pretty clever and plays to our strengths rather than continually pretending we have an #9.

The three DMs make sense only if you understand the inherent weakness in the false 9 strategy - which is you can leave gaping holes at the back. So 3 DMs makes sense in this context. Plus even if we get no joy in the final third, we've got the ability to clog the midfield and keep this scoreless for as long as possible and hopefully nick one late.

This actually makes total sense to me, but again it may not work. Kudos to Unsy for trying something new. Isn't that what we've all been clamoring for?
