All this tells me is that Unsworth should in no way shape or form be our next boss. We're going out tomorrow. I doubt that that will be a surprise to anyone.
Yes I agree, this game is perfect for Unsworth to try Sandro, he has been awful since he arrive from Spain but I'm sure there's a player in there, one goal and it could all click. I won't hold my breath though.I hope he plays Sandro upfront with lookman and Vlasic either side to support him. Sigurdsson just behind.
Still think Sandro is a good player, he just hasn’t had any service with the bizarre team selections so far.
Garbutt isn't registered for the Europa League.Any idea what the full squad was that travelled? I would have thought Garbutt would replace Baines at LB.
Starting to get the feeling that he's looking to set us up defensively tomorrow night. Reckon he'll just want to avoid a pasting at all costs.
I hate that we're going out, but under the current circumstances, you're right, it is probably for the best. Seriously doubt we're getting through this group now no matter who he plays, but be nice if he didn't just throw in the towel before we've kicked off.I'm kinda glad we will be out tomorrow tho mate as it leaves us to concentrate on the league.
We've strengthened the squad by leaving the players we have behind (except for Keane). They should be using every match to try to find a combination that works, build confidence, and start to get things settled. Not resting a few members of the squad for home games against Watford in November. Can't believe we are still overlooking the absolute basics.
