More men in tears: Gemili in the 200M.

FFS, a nation of cry babies.

They should be ashamed to face their own families.

When did this lachrymosity begin? I cant ever remember a deluge of tears like this.

Years ago the odd embarrassment would get through and people would try and forgive them for it. But now it's a trend and many empathise with them.

In the boxing Caroline Dubois lost a close fight this morning.

Galal Yafai fights in a quarter final to guarantee a medal shortly. Big ask against a good Cuban but Galal has beat him once in the past. If he wins it will be the most medals in one games for GB in boxing, beating the total of 5 in 2012.

At around 11am Pat McCormack fights Alvarez who is also Cuban for the gold medal. Alvarez has won 3 world championships. Pat is the number 1 ranked boxer at his weight and is probably a slight favourite but a close fight.

Yafai wins means he’s got a medal , great result and a good fight . It’s now the best team GB boxing performance at an Olympics in the modern era

When does the Cumberland Wrestling start?

Those were some great days going into the fells up in Cumberland. My Grandad bred hounds so we used to go to all the events with him for the hound trailing but obviously went and watched the fell running (now that takes some fitness, my dad did a couple of those but was more a road runner) and the wrestling, etc.
