Maybe it's because once again you focus on the negative. Haven't seen a post from your praising our swimmers or triathletes. You've gone straight to a girl falling over a hurdle.

I have nothing against the swimmers or triathletes. I enjoyed seeing the relay win last night.

My 'negative' posts have been about the gutless rowers...something that their predecessors have done.

She has mental health issues. Dont blame her, blame her Olympic Federation. They should have sent her home.

I feel more sorry for the US Gymnasts who have been completely over shadowed by this brouhaha. The Yanks have not done a great job protecting them from this mess.

Biles and her advisers (many of whom are commercial vampires who exploit her and will be eyeing the possibilities of this for books and movies post-career) should never have been allowed to make the decision to stay in Tokyo.

Not really arsed about the Djokovic debate. Tennis should not be an Olympic sport, neither should golf or any sport where Olympic gold is not considered the pinnacle of the sport.

Djokovic is hated in the west because he's Serbian. Full stop. Nothing to do with his personality. This is geo-politics which the sheep pick up on via a miasma of propaganda - and so Djokovioc is less likeable than Rafael or that potato nosed Swiss crawler.

He will be GOAT - and he's on his way to a Grand Slam this season.

That commentator is making a particular point. The BBC should be all over that given the sensitivity of the subject.

Yeah I can agree with that really, plus those are sports that are already very popular and well funded, professional footballers and tennis players shouldn't be in the Olympics

Agree with some of this. I think Novak has a more polarising personality but I personally prefer it to the other two

The hypocrisy is calling someone out for where they are from rather than the person themselves. Maybe you don't see the phrase "Swiss crawler" as judging someone on where they are from.

And his views on vaccines are not complex. He is an anti-vaxxer that believes in weird new age "medicine". I've seen an interview with him where he says positive energy can transform water into a healing substance. I guess you're right because that is a pretty complex stance
