Old trends in football you’d like to see making a comeback

10 pages and no one has mentioned having a kit that lasted more than a year.

90s were the proper replica kit years, home kit one year, away kit following year and so on

Now we have home kit, away kit, 3rd kit, 4th kit, remembrance day kit, pride kit, kat kit, Fah kit, comedies kit, Blan kit, Biss kit. Every single season!

Each one costing £100

Being able to buy a ticket outside the ground ,even at face value.
Remember visiting my family and the derby was on, I walked up to goodison, stood by the main stand ticket office, some lad asked you wanting a ticket, I said yes, gave him £20,and he gave me a ticket plus 50p change.
Face value.
Walking up to Gwladys Street and paying £1.90 cash at the turnstiles!!

I’m sure the counter to this will be numbers 1-11 but i was posting more from a 90s-00s standpoint:

bring back when players would have a progression from youth number, to squad number, to first XI number

now they just stick with number 47 like foden, he should gone to a 17 or a 14 and then progressed to 10

This bad boy. Awful, but little did we know, it was the reason we played well and had a good season.
