Everton 1 Spurs 0
April 1963. Spurs were champions we of course went on to replace them. I was absolutely gob smacked by the whole experience and have been a blue ever since.
My second game was the 4 - 1 game against Fulham when we became champions. I was standing in the old paddock, incredible scenes.

How boss was Beardsley?

First game was against Norwich in 1989, we won 3-1, Cottee and Sharp scoring. My kopite uncle took me, as my dad who was also a red wouldn't take me.
Imagine him in this side.Nice to see the TC hat trick I'm always surprised at the number who didn't rate him,

European cup QF, v panathinikos , was 6, the old lady under the lights, love at first sight, im 50 now and still get that same shudder when i see the pitch, the drum roll, the team running out,, my late uncle vin took me to many more games god bless him but that was my first

I think 1948 might just win this 'contest'. My date possesses the same numerals but is 36 years later (v Chelsea at Stamford Bridge)

2-2 against QPR mid nineties. Les Ferdinand got both for them.

Was living with my grandparents till a couple of months ago. My grandads first game was a 7-1 win at home both Dixie and Tommy Lawton scored. My nan cant remember what she had for tea, but she still tells me of seeing Dixie bring the cup back in '33. She used to sing a song about him scoring his 60th goal. Never heard it before or since though.

5th Feb 1972 for me, but if I extend my Grandfather's influence it goes back to 1927. I have a cousin who hasn't missed a home game since 1974, so from a family perspective there has not been a home game someone from the family has not attended since 1927....

Blimey that is a hell of a debut. Terrible let down for the result. Should have scored 10. Electric atmosphere though.

Not my first game, but first one I can remember in enough detail. Crystal palace in the Worthington cup. 2001 I think it was, we lost on pens. The only highlight of that game was in Abel Xaviers hair
