A good few I've been in, many I've driven past too many times to remember.
How time flies, one sticks in my mind The Red Rum, late 70s obvs - Gone, my kids are older...just...than that ffs.
'Slum clearance#, the resulting shifting population plus changes in (the drinking) culture, so even pubs in 'functioning' suburbs have gone under.
Rising costs, breweries putting up rents, staff wages, cheap supermarket beer?
