I went there as a young boy & a schoolboy missed the tower maybe it was like being at the seaside for a day - the ferry was a treat to go on the open air baths etc happy memories from living two up two down back then in a community that Everton fans dominated tbe area as the other lot were a division 2 side ...
Poor' but happy days

I remember, as a kid, Codman's Punch & Judy, that corner of St George's Hall.
