I am too young to remember it and wish it was still there but I imagine the upkeep costs would have been astronomical.Construction of the overhead railway.c1890 - be great for BMD now - only idiots demolished it -

My late father tooky older brother on it a few times he's 7 years older than me - I never seen it to remember - it would be an asset now like the trams etc ...I am too young to remember it and wish it was still there but I imagine the upkeep costs would have been astronomical.
No, but did many of them in my career - still got the wooden large compass in my garage I had made by a carpenter way back to do them hand made adjustable ....
