Everton played in the 4th round of FA Cup in Jan 1935. Everton beat Grimsby Town 6-3 with Albert Geldard(on floor) scoring a hat trick.The sides met again at Goodison the next Saturday in a League game, Dixie scoring in a 3-1 win.
