What was the logic behind that at the time...child safety? WTH was so bad they had to be caged? I get the hooligan factor but they weren't bothering kids, were they?
it was because 1 it was so cheap to get in - 2- it was such a bad view of the game young lads climbed up the cage to get a better view - 3- the Cage stopped them getting anywhere else in the ground 4- No way BK ever went in there I went in once as my mate was skint I offered him money to go in the Gwadys stret but no he stated it would be fine - good job I had my Dr martins on & was a big lad for my age - never again
