I found a copy of the photo on another Pinterest account described as "Stevens scoring in the Charity Shield". However I have just re watched the Charity Shield on You tube and is not Stevens scoring. I think it is this incident.

Just checked my caption stated 1962/63 - the game on that date Stephens scored in 1962 in August v Wednesday in a 4-1 win at home in 25th August - Vernon got 2 Stephens & the GV the other scorers - have you got any of those goals ? A season earlier ?
Stephens never scored that many goals, just a coincidence he scored in August 2 seasons in a row .....
