Checking the records, we drew this match 2-2 and beat them 3-2 in the reply. We then beat Walsall in the next round but lost away to Spurs in the 5th round. It also mentions our terrible run without an away win from September 1970 which was to last until April 1972 when we beat Southampton at the Dell.
