1966 Gabby looks out numbered here it led to the first Wednesday goal - - in fact we start that game with only a midfield two with Colin Harvey playing further forwards - they dropped Harvey back a bit in the 2nd half as we were being overrun in midfield in the first half - seem to do the trick - just - when we used to get a comeback after going 2-0 down -

Everton FC Player, Cliff Marshall was the first black Liverpudlian to play for Everton (1973-76) born in 1955, he grew up in Stanhope Street. unfortunately, Cliff claims he received a bit of racial abuse in his early days from our own fans - sadly passed away this year like so many ex blues -
