Some awful attendances in the early 1980's,I remember an Easter game v Coventry and the gate was actually under 13000,bad times

That wasn't easter mate, that was New Year's Eve. I went to that game, I don't think there was a single effort on target in the whole match, and then they featured it on MOTD and I watched it again at a New Year's Eve party

No deffo was the season before that one mate I'm certain,I was at the "Kendall Out"game in December 1983 too,13K at that one,even less at the previous years Coventry game,grim times,in fact I think that was the lowest league attendance I've attended at Goodison

Well we were fairly dull and they were worse!! I miss those days though. I can only get to 2 games a season these days and that's with an obstructed view seat!!

You right dario that's the one a bloke had to walk ten yards around in the gladys street my brother and I were laughing it was that empty!
