Ruins of the Everton Toffee Shop on Everton Brow c1884. Established by Molly Bushell in 1753 where the famous Everton toffee was first made, from which take the nickname of the Toffees. Looks like fire damage toffees been over done in her oven, maybe? -

Would love to have lived in those times,no cars on the road, no smartphone addicts or Kopites engulfing the country.

This thread makes me sad. Days when Everton had standards and the players had skill

A few of these & we would be safe under good management -

A few of them were so good, had such standards and skills I’m not even sure a manager would be necessary! Sadly a few of them will be turning in their graves at what we have become !
